Bridging the Gap Scholarship
What is the purpose of the scholarship?
It is recognized throughout the construction design industry that new graduates are woefully unprepared to enter the construction design work environment at the conclusion of their degree program. Some students have internships with design firms during the summer. While this does help them hit the ground running at a design office upon graduation, many know very little about their part within the construction industry as a whole even after earning their degree.

How does the scholarship work?
The basic premise for this scholarship is that a student (either a senior in high school or a college freshman), with an interest in engineering related to construction or design, would become part of our program database.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must have either just completed their senior year of high school or their freshman year of college. (The reason for this is that we feel strongly that repeated exposure to the construction industry is vital in producing a universal understanding of the industry.)
Applicants must be in pursuit of no less than a four year engineering degree at an accredited higher education institution.
Minimum 2.5 GPA
Scholarship winners are eligible for 5 consecutive years, so long as they are enrolled as a full time student and maintain the required GPA.
